Turner Punt Return Gives Eagles 7-6 Lead

On the Eagles’ second drive of the night, the undrafted rookie free agent continued to improve his chances of earning a spot on the Eagles’ 53-man roster. Turner tallied two receptions, both of which resulted in major yardage for the Birds. He picked up 20 yards on his first catch and 17 yards on his second.

Turner also served as the team’s punt returner throughout the opening 30 minutes and his biggest play of the game to that point came doing just that. With 2:51 remaining before halftime, the receiver caught the ball at the Philadelphia 29 and returned it 71 yards for a touchdown.
