It might be a painful memory, but think back to the 2013 NFC Wild Card Game for a moment.
Zach Ertz scored a touchdown to put the Eagles up 24-23 late in the fourth quarter. On the ensuing kickoff, then-Saint Darren Sproles ran the ball back to the Saints' 37-yard line and a horse-collar tackle moved the ball into Eagles territory. The Saints ate the clock and kicked a 32-yard field goal as the final seconds ticked away.
Twenty-one months later, fans haven’t forgotten the bitter taste of that home playoff defeat. While many of the players who will take the field on Sunday are different than those who lined up on that frigid January day, the Eagles will still be looking to exact some revenge.
