Earlier this month, former Eagles quarterback Tim Tebow announced that he would be pursuing a career in professional baseball — and the Phillies, it seems, are listening.
As USA Today reports, the Phillies have confirmed they will send a scout to observe Tebow next week in Los Angeles, where he will hold a workout Tuesday for interested baseball teams. Over the past several months, Tebow has been training in Los Angeles and Scottsdale, Ariz.
But don’t take that scout’s attendance as a guarantee that you’ll be seeing Tebow on the field at Citizens Bank Park anytime soon.
