Philadelphia Eagles add safety depth, sign free agent Nick Perry

The Philadelphia Eagles added two new players to their roster Friday. First came former Villanova linebacker Don Cherry (no, not the hockey analyst) and later came the signing of Nick Perry, formerly of the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad.

Perry played his college ball at Alabama and was a significant component to the Crimson Tide’s defense. In 2014, Perry recorded 80 tackles, 2 interceptions and 6 pass deflections.

As an undrafted free agent in 2015, Perry obviously didn’t get much attention from the media. However, the Ravens were very high on him. High enough to consider him the next undrafted NFL gem.
