Eagles down to just four cornerbacks after cutting Strap

In a true crime against humanity, the Philadelphia Eagles officially released Cre’Von LeBlanc on Sunday afternoon.

The Eagles needed to make a roster move in order to clear a spot for waiver claim Jason Huntley. (Read more about him here.) Howie Roseman previously emphasized that the Eagles aren’t able to immediately open roster spots for waiver claims by placing players on injured reserve.

Therefore, it’s possible the Eagles will bring Strap back once the Eagles are able to place player(s) on injured reserve. Will Parks, Jalen Reagor, and Genard Avery are among potential candidates for that designation.
