There’s really no way to prove what we’re about to say. To tell the truth, it’s hard to remember where we heard it, but there was a story floating around draft time. That story was the Philadelphia Eagles were never torn about whether to take Carson Wentz or Jared Goff with the second pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
It’s obvious that whatever they did was completely based on what the Los Angeles Rams did with the first pick, but as rumor would have it, the Eagles would have gone with Wentz if they had the first pick in the draft.
