Bill Parcells endorses Tom Coughlin for Eagles coaching job

Former Giants head coach Tom Coughlin made a point of saying he wasn’t necessarily done with coaching during his farewell speech. It turns out he may not even be leaving the division.

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Eagles have requested permission to interview Coughlin for their head coaching vacancy. According to sources, interview is likely to occur Monday.

While neither the Giants nor the Eagles would confirm the news, the Giants are reportedly willing to allow Coughlin, who has one year left on his contract, to interview with the Eagles.

If he is indeed interested in the Eagles' vacancy, moving a couple hours south to Philadelphia would certain seem to be an ideal situation for Coughlin, who has four children and 11 grandchildren who all live on the East Coast.
