With training camp now officially three days in, it’s surprising to hear that the Philadelphia Eagles and Sam Bradford are talking about a short-term extension. Ever since Bradford set foot off the plane from St. Louis, the expectation was that he would play out the last year of his deal. While that situation may have been in the Eagles’ best interests at first, it appears that an extension could make sense.
I’ve written before about how not extending Bradford was a good idea, and to be honest I still feel that way.
