Sixers rookie Ben Simmons announced via his social media platforms Tuesday evening that a bone scan on his right foot revealed that he is fully healed from a fracture he suffered last September during training camp.
"Obviously, I had my scan today," Simmons said. "Green check. We're live. We're live, baby. I'm looking forward to getting back on the court, and I'm looking forward to a big season for the Sixers."
Additionally, ESPN reports that Simmons was fully cleared to return to basketball activities following his scan.
Simmons did not play a minute this season and was officially shut down on Feb.
