MIAMI -- Nerlens Noel will have surgery as early as Monday to address an inflamed plica above his left knee.

The time table for the 76ers reserve center’s return has not been determined. The Sixers found out about the injury when Noel reported soreness in his left knee while being treated for a left hip strain.

He’s been sidelined since Oct. 6 with the hip injury.

Noel finished last season, averaging 11.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.5 blocks.
