One of the more charming storylines of the Sixers’ season so far is the bond formed by Jimmy Butler and Ben Simmons. The tandem proclaimed their partnership with a dawning of thick, white headbands. When asked about the uniform change, Brett Brown responded, “They are defensive brothers. They’re blood brothers. That band signifies to me they’re bonding, a defensive bonding. I’ve asked Jimmy to put Ben under his wing and really help Ben be all he can be defensively.”
