In certain respects, this comes as no surprise. The Wizards are better than the Sixers and ahead of them in many areas.
But as Andrew Unterberger reports, “what Sixers fans should be caring about much more than the team’s record is how their young studs looked in action — particularly rookie center Jahlil Okafor and his second-year frontcourt partner, Nerlens Noel.”
Jahlil Okafor’s opening game impressed many. He looked comfortable with the ball in his hands and he converted on his first five attempts.
