They dragged the Sixers down into the mud for roughly two-and-half quarters of an enormous Play-In game Wednesday. The Sixers managed to get out the mud just in time and come away with a 105-104 victory, punching their ticket to the postseason and avoiding the Boston Celtics in the first round.
It wasn’t a pretty win, but there are no style points in the postseason. In fact, ugly wins go a long way in revealing things about your team.
