Jahlil Okafor throws out first pitch; Phillie Phanatic commits passed ball

The resignation of Ryne Sandberg as manager on Friday and the announcement of Andy MacPhail as next president on Monday have sent shockwaves through every part of the Phillies organization.

Even the Phillie Phanatic.

76ers first round draft pick Jahlil Okafor threw out the first pitch before the Phillies' 4-3 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday night with the Phanatic behind…er, in front of the plate.

Okafor fired a pitch that clanked off the Phanatic's glove. It was a bit high, but the Phanatic has set the bar quite high for itself. The Phanatic appears to agree as the Galapagos Islands native's glove was thrown in disgust after the miscue.
