After a huge upset victory in Saturday’s White Out, it is no surprise that several Nittany Lions are being honored for their efforts. The Big Ten Conference announced it’s players of the week Monday, and three Penn State players made the list.
Linebacker Brandon Bell, cornerback Grant Haley, and safety Marcus Allen all received weekly honors from the conference.
Bell, who hadn’t played since getting injured in the second game of the year at Pitt, is the Big Ten’s Defensive Player of the Week. The senior didn’t miss a beat after the time off. He recorded a career-high 18 tackles against the Buckeyes and was instrumental in the stellar play of the defense.
