Softball
The softball team took two games out of three in its road series with Nebraska. Following a split in the first two games, freshman standout Bridgit Nemeth lifted the Lions to a comeback 6-5 win in the rubber match. Nemeth hit a 2-run home run in the seventh inning, the first of her career, to send the game to extra innings. Kaitlyn Morrison finished off the Lions’ rally with a two-run homer of her own in the top of the 10th inning, sending Penn State home with its third straight road series win against Nebraska.
