Penn State women’s cross country impressive at national meet

It wasn't a perfect day, but it was close for Penn State.

The No. 13 Nittany Lions, facing huge competition at the Minnesota-hosted Roy Griak Invitational, came in third place behind Portland and Big Ten rival Michigan State. Remaining in top form, the Lions finished ahead of more than 30 teams vying for positioning at the Les Bolstad Golf Course. The men's team finished 19th on the day.
