Head coach Greg Nye began his media day press conference at the Bryce Jordan Center with a summary of his team’s many accomplishments this past summer.
He started with perhaps the biggest accomplishments of his current and former players by mentioning 2010 graduates TJ Howe and Kevin Foley, who qualified for and played in the U.S. Open Championship this past June outside of Pittsburgh at Oakmont Country Club.
He also noted 2016 graduate JD Dornes and current junior Cole Miller, who were extremely close in their bids to qualify for golf’s national championship.
Miller, along with senior Christian Elliott, joined Nye at the press conference.
