UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State has made it clear it has no interest in playing host to games on Friday nights, but it will play in one next season.
The Big Ten updated its schedule Friday and moved Penn State’s game at Illinois up one day to Friday, Sept. 21.
Four other games involving conference teams also will be played on days other than Saturdays in 2018. They are:
Aug. 30 – Northwestern at Purdue.
Aug. 31 – Utah State at Michigan State and Western Kentucky at Wisconsin.
Oct. 26 – Indiana at Minnesota.
