According to numerous reports that have been circulating on Saturday, the Penn State Nittany Lions are set to hire a new offensive coordinator to replace the fired John Donovan. According to several sources, including college football insider Bruce Feldman, head coach James Franklin is going to hire Fordham head coach Joe Moorhead.
While Moorhead’s name isn’t the flashy one many Penn State fans were hoping for, it looks like a very good hire for the Nittany Lions. Moorhead has been very successful at the FCS level with Fordham, a team that struggled before he took over in 2012.
