Former Penn State football great is recovering from a major procedure on right in time for Christmas
It was a Christmas miracle for former Penn State football great Matt Millen. The All-American defender underwent a successful heart transplant on Sunday evening and is now recovering. The news was announced by Millen’s son on Christmas Eve that his dad underwent a successful transplant.
“We are praising God this morning that dad’s heart transplant was “wildly successful” last night. What a wonderful Christmas gift,” wrote Matthew H. Millen on Facebook Monday morning.
Millen was diagnosed in 2017 with a rare disease called, Amyloidosis.
