We continue our “Days Until” countdown with former walk-on wide receiver Gordon Bentley.
A 2013 graduate of Wissahickon High School, Bentley played for Penn State from 2014-2016. While he was mostly a special teamer, Bentley was a standout student; earning the Highest Academic Average award in 2015 and 2016, and being awarded the Football Letterman’s Club Joe and Sue Paterno Post-Graduate Scholarship in 2016, too. According to LinkedIn, Bentley is now a “Finance Liaison.” Which, hey, anytime you can have a french word in your job title, you’re probably doing okay for yourself.
