The top Missouri team fell to Cal in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Junior Amina Ismail and senior Bea Machado Santos were defeated 2-6, 2-6. The loss ends their season.
The duo was the first Missouri doubles pairing to qualify for the NCAA Tournament since 2003.
Missouri softball senior Kirsten Mack has been named to the CoSIDA Division I Softball Academic All-American Team. She finishes her four years at Missouri with a 3.90 GPA.
Mack hit .333, with nine home runs, 38 RBI and nine stolen bases in her senior season. She also threw out a conference best eight runners in SEC play.
