Meet the Penn State targets, commits headed to The Opening

The last week of June marks the start of the college football recruiting dead period, which keeps coaches and recruits separate until mid-July each and every year. It serves as a chance for both sides to catch a breather in the never-ending recruiting cycle, with coaches taking vacations and working on game plans while recruits spend some extra time thinking of what they've learned so far and what they need to know before picking their future school.

For a select group of high school players, though, the time is anything but dead, as the last week of June also brings the start of The Opening, a multi-day high school football camp and showcase held at NIKE headquarters in Oregon.
