McQueary's attorney says Penn State undermined his credibility

BELLEFONTE, Pa. — Pennsylvania State University ostracized Mike McQueary and forced him out of his football coaching job in an attempt to undermine his credibility as the central witness against three school administrators accused of covering up Jerry Sandusky's sexual abuse of children, his attorney told a Centre County jury Monday.

In his opening remarks in a $4 million whistleblower case against the school, McQueary attorney Elliot Strokoff said that university officials misled his client into thinking they would act when he reported to them in 2001 that he saw Sandusky sexually assaulting a boy in a lockerroom shower.
