Cael Sanderson added another one of the nation’s top prospects during selection day. Mark Hall, the nation’s No. 1 ranked wrestling recruit according to Associated Press Wrestling, put on the Nittany Lions’ hat on Wednesday.
“Going out to Penn State, it felt like a home to me,” Hall said during his announcement, which was broadcasted live by FloWrestling.
Hall wrestled at 170 pounds at Apple Valley high school in Minnesota. He has been unbeaten on the mat for the past two seasons and is looking to collect his sixth straight state championship this season, which would be a state record.
