Badgers football: Seen and heard at Camp Randall

Members of the Northwestern football team locked arms as they came onto the field on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium to show they’re a “unified group.”

With the Wildcats not coming onto the field until after the completion of the National Anthem, the players made the decision to lock arms as they took the field to show that they “all believe in equality,” Northwestern safety Kyle Queiro told the Chicago Tribune earlier in the week.

Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald told the Tribune he supports his players’ decision.

“I fully support our guys,” Fitzgerald told the paper.
