INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Yahav Shahaf's NCAA trip came to a close today as Pacific's representative swam the 100 Breast, his final event. Shahaf matches his school-record time with a 52.62 in the prelims, then swam a 53.15 in the finals to take 32nd.
"Yahav set eight school records this year and he's still just a sophomore," said Head Coach Peter Richardson. "He's determined and focused to come back to the NCAAs again next year."
Shahaf also swam the 50 Free in 19.90 seconds, finishing in the top 40. Shahaf had previously set the school record in the 50 Free this season as well with his time of 19.
