Stockton, Calif. - For the third week in a row, the Pacific Tigers field hockey team was honored with a weekly award by the America East Conference. Marguerite van Wyk was named the Player of the Week thanks to her 14-point weekend in two days. This award came on the heels of Savannah Burns winning Player of the Week the week before and van Wyk winning Rookie of the Week the week before that.
Van Wyk started the weekend with a huge game against Long Island Brooklyn, scoring ten points in the game to tie Pacific's single-game record for points.
