Pacific junior GeAnna Luaulu-Summers felt slighted last season by the West Coast Conference.
Following the 2015-16 regular season, Luaulu-Summers wasn't selected to any of the All-WCC teams, despite her impressive sophomore campaign with 10.3 points per game and a 2.3 assist-to-turnover ratio, fourth-best in the WCC.
Luaulu-Summers represented Pacific at the 2016-17 WCC media day in Los Angeles. With her wound still raw from the snub, Luaulu-Summers went through the dog-and-pony show of media day with her usual quiet class and grace.
But a fire burned inside her.
"Last year, I felt like I was robbed, " Luaulu-Summers said.
