Tigers Edged By Highlanders

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The comeback fell just short on Sunday as the Tigers capped off tournament play with a 5-4 loss to UC Riverside. Marissa Young started in the circle for Pacific, going three innings allowing four earned and striking out three. Hailey Reed also tossed three innings in relief, striking out a career-high seven while allowing no earned runs. Rachel Sellers went 3-for-4 at the plate with two doubles, two batted in and a run scored. The loss drops the Tigers to 17-18 overall while the win brings the Highlanders to 18-10 on the year.
