STOCKTON, Calif. - A couple of first half goals doomed the Pacific women's soccer team on Friday night as the Tigers fell to visiting Fresno State 3-0 in their regular season opener. In her first game back in over a year, Alex Hussar had two of Pacific's 11 shots on the night as the Orange and Black outshot their opponent 11-8.
Fresno State got on the board first in the 35th minute as Ele Avery ripped a shot which was blocked by a defender, but the ricochet immediately found Julia Glaser who was able to tap it in for an early 1-0 lead.
