Tigers Bounce Back in First Road Contest

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - A goal by Hannah Terry in the 85th minute helped the Pacific women's soccer team come back to draw a 1-1 tie against host Cal State Northridge. The result brings the Tigers to 0-1-1 on the year and takes the Matadors to 0-0-2.

"This was a total team effort and everyone contributed," said head coach Kerri Scroope. "Regan had a huge penalty kick save that provided energy for the team to push for the tie. Even with a tie this is a big result for us and our movement going forward."

The Matadors quickly took a 1-0 lead in the third minute on a header from Marissa Favela towards the near post which got past goalie Henriikka Mäkelä for the score.
