STOCKTON, Calif. - Head coach Ryan Redondo has announced the addition of Mikayel Khachatryan, who becomes the second signee of the men's tennis program this week. Khachatryan will transfer to Pacific from the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport.
"I am extremely excited about the signing of Mikayel Khachatryan to the Pacific Tiger tennis program." said coach Redondo. "Mikayel and I have gotten to know each other quite well throughout the recruiting process and I am really impressed by his dedication and passion."
A native of Armenia, Khachatryan trained at the Bruguera Tennis Academy in Spain and was coached by Fernando Luna and Sergi Bruguera, who is a former French Open Champion.
