STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific men's tennis team and head coach Ryan Redondo announced the signing of Simon Solbas on Thursday for the 2017-2018 academic year.
"I am very excited to have Simon join our program. He has a tremendous amount of potential, but more importantly he has been such a solid guy during the recruiting process, said Redondo. "Training at the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy and being exposed to highly professional people will serve his transition to Pacific very well."
A native of Palma, Mallorca, Spain, Solbas trains at the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy and was recruited by other division I programs such as Alabama, Tennessee, and fellow West Coast Conference opponent, San Diego.
