The 2016 season is officially over for the Pac-12. We kick off our season review by grading each team, beginning with Washington State.
Offense: The Cougars finished second in the Pac-12 in average points per game with 38.2, which is admittedly an excellent mark, but they sputtered offensively in the final three contests of 2016 -- all losses. That certainly sours this evaluation.
Not coincidentally, Washington State's struggles emerged when receiver River Cracraft went down with a knee injury; the Cougars averaged 44.3 points per game with him and only 17.
