All in all, not a bad week for the Senators. They outplayed each of their opponents, which led to two wins (over the Penguins and Blues) and a loss (to the Maple Leafs). Now Ottawa is in a three-way tie for third in the Atlantic Division, with about 120 games in hand on the second-place Bruins.

Remember when he wasn’t defensively-responsible enough to play regular minutes? Turns out he now belongs on the checking line, shutting down other teams’ top lines and scoring three goals in three games. Imagine how well he could be doing if he was getting passes from Mark Stone instead of Tom Pyatt?
