Sens winger MacArthur insists 'he's fine' and ready to go [Video]

Insisting he does not have another concussion, Clarke MacArthur was his old self Tuesday -- he practiced with the rest of the Senators, then laughed off concerns over the head injury he sustained in Saturday's final exhibition game against the Habs.

"I took a little bump to the neck/chin area or whatever, but I've been hit harder by my daughter with her toys," MacArthur said of the accidental straight arm from teammate Mark Fraser.

But whether MacArthur will suit up for Thursday's regular season opener in Buffalo remains to be seen. Right now, his status could probably be improved from "doubtful" to "questionable", but even if he does wake up Wednesday feeling great, the team may very well leave him on the shelf until the weekend -- just to be sure.
