Pierre Dorion is studying his options.

While the Senators GM is juggling a lot of balls — searching for a new head coach, scouting and trying to get settled into his new role at the same time — he spent Saturday night at CBC in Toronto watching which way the lottery balls fell and, in this case, Ottawa kept its No. 12 selection in the NHL entry draft set for June 24-25 in Buffalo.

Speaking before catching a late-night flight back home, Dorion didn’t rule out the possibility of trying to move up or down before the first round gets under way at the First Niagara Center.
