After clearing waivers this afternoon, the Senators have traded Tom Pyatt along with Mike McKenna to the Vancouver Canucks for Anders Nilsson and Darren Archibald. The Senators also included their 6th round draft pick in 2019.
The 28 year old Nilsson has a 0.895 SV% in 12 games this season, the lowest of his career. It’s a much more respectable 0.921 at 5 on 5, with his struggles being largely on the penalty kill. To compare, McKenna has an overall 0.897 SV% this season, dropping to 0.
