TORONTO - Kyle Turris started the season the exact same way he did last year by scoring the first goal of the year.
Just for good measure he got his second -- and it turned out to be the winner -- in the club's 3-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres Thursday night at the First Niagara Center as the Senators got the year started on the right note.
Now, as Turris suits up for No. 400 of his career Saturday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Air Canada Centre, he's hoping to be a consistent performer for the club throughout the year as the Senators attempt to get back to the post-season for the second-straight year.
