The NHL's new overtime format is growing on Erik Karlsson.
After calling 3-on-3 play "kind of boring" and expressing his dislike for it earlier this season, the Senators captain was singing a different tune Wednesday.
"Yeah, maybe I spoke too soon there," Karlsson said with a chuckle. "I think it got taken a little bit out of context, what I said. I by no means don't like playing 3-on-3. I do. I just think it was a big change coming from the 4-on-4 and I really liked the 4-on-4, so maybe I'm going to give (3-on-3) some time here.
