A couple of days before officially joining a good line, Bobby Ryan threw one up on Twitter.
So maybe not everyone found the latter as comical as it was intended — those over-sensitive to Team USA’s plight at the World Cup of Hockey didn’t laugh — but Ryan offered no sincere apologies when arriving at Canadian Tire Centre on Thursday for training camp physicals.
“It wasn’t a direct shot at anybody,” said the Senators right winger. “I think everybody, for the most part, has a little bit of a sense of humour. I don’t want to take it back, because I don’t think I did anything wrong.
