Ottawa Senators send 23 players to Binghamton

There was a mass exodus from the Ottawa Senators training camp on Monday morning.

As expected, the Senators have split their camp with 21 players assigned to the club’s AHL affiliate in Binghamton as work begins in earnest to get ready for the start of the regular season. Two other players were placed on injured list.

This leaves the team with three goalies, 11 defencemen and 19 forwards.

Here are the players who were assigned today:

To Binghamton: Chris Carlisle, Vincent Dunn, Chris Driedger, Ryan Dzingel, Travis Ewanyk, Scott Greenham, Alex Guptill, Ben Harpur, Danny Hobbs, Guillaume Lepine, Daultan Leveillé, Tobias Lindberg, Ryan Penny, Chris Rumble, Troy Rutkowski, Nick Tuzzolino, Alex Wideman and Matthew Zay.
