With the injury bug continuing to hit Andrew Hammond, this time around in Sunday's practice, rookie netminder Matt O'Connor (0-5-1, 4.14 GAA, 0.859 SV%) has been called up from Binghamton for the second time this season. Although the type of injury to Hammond is in question.
Hammond did take a puck off the mask today, but continued the practice. Don't know if that was it??

O'Connor's jump from the college level to the pros hasn't been an easy one for the 23 year old Toronto native as he's still in search for his first professional win.
