It was Michelle Obama who gave us the phrase, when the U.S. election got ugly: “when they go low, we go high.” Leeder went high.
Many in the community feel the Senators went low, firing Leeder mid-way through the hockey club’s celebratory 25th anniversary season. No one put in more thankless hours for the Senators than Leeder, who co-founded the hockey club in 1990.
