As a former college kid himself, Ryan Dzingel was excited to hear that top Ottawa Senators prospect Colin White had signed an amateur tryout agreement with the organization.
At the same time, Dzingel cautioned Senators fans to be a tad careful before putting heavy expectations on White.
Dzingel, who spent three years at Ohio State before joining the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League in 2013-14, suggested stepping into the pro game would be an eye-opener for White, the 20-year-old who spent the past two seasons at Boston College.
“It’s a completely different game,” Dzingel said.
