Upton's currently dealing with a bruised right thumb suffered against the Brewers on Monday. He collected a pair of hits in his return to the lineup on Wednesday, though Thursday's action only resulted in a pair of walks. He's hitting .248/.324/.429 with 18 homers, 57 RBI and 17 steals for the season. While Upton's approaching his season-best mark for steals (he swiped 21 bags in 2011), the numbers he's currently posting on his triple-slash are among the worst of his career.
