ORLANDO -- Community gatherings and volunteer activities will take place on Monday, June 12 as part of “Orlando United Day” to commemorate those who senselessly lost their lives at the Pulse Nightclub one year ago.
Since that tragic and horrifying night, the city of Orlando has bonded together. The love, care and kindness shown in the past year has fortified the entire community.
The series of organized events scheduled for Monday will be a day of congregation and compassion. People will gather with the purpose of honoring the victims and showing continued support for the survivors.
