Just saw where the L.A. Lakers announced they're going to build a statue for Shaquille O'Neal outside of Staples Center. In related news, the Magic announced they are going to dredge a dried-up little pond in his honor. But seriously, if Orlando were ever going to build a statue for a sports figure in town, my top two candidates would be Pat Williams and Arnold Palmer. Or maybe the Magic could erect a statue of Billy Donovan, but then they'd have to take it down the very next day.
